Great breakfast place!!! Country skillet is very good, pancakes are tasty. Customer service is good and make you feel comfortable.

Steak and eggs were awesome. Three of our four meals had spoiled items that we had to send back and were replaced with fresh items. Service is very bad. It's a shame. We used to come here years ago and it was great.

I've been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. I don't know who the young guy is that seems to be the only manager now, but I'm guessing he's family of the two old guys that used to run the place. I'm motivated to post a review in the hopes they pick it up a bit. It's really not the same. Ordered a Country Fried Steak for breakfast with straight up eggs. The eggs came scrambled, I told my waitress. She takes it back, and leaves my toast sitting on the table getting cold for five minutes while I wait. You threw away the eggs I bet, why not bring me new toast? Even worse, the toast is always hit or miss now. I understand margins might be tighter, but they've taken away complimentary orange juice, no more fruit, and even the jelly on the table has gone from Dickinson's to Smuckers....and sticky packages too. Yuk. I'm paying my check and one of the old waitresses didn't even acknowledge a smile. Old saying I learned years ago. "Even a dog will wag its tail if you smile at it." Any way, usually the deciding factor in me posting a bad review of a restaurant is a 1am post eating there bowel explosion, and you win Les Brothers. Yikes. I so loved this food. I even forgave them the time my Country Fried Steak came with the wax paper still attached at their 87th and Ridgeland location years ago. LOL. Get it together guys,...please.

My first comment would be, during the winter months leave the heat turned up. I froze my eggs off sitting by the windows during my last visit. But to be fair. a lot of restaurants turn the heat way down over night. My problem is that the food gets cold fairly quickly when it is cold inside. Ordered a omelet and coffee. The coffee was luke warm at best, and this was a constant factor during the whole meal. I can see one cup being cold, but every cup was the same. The omelets here are huge and they are the puffy kind, cooked in a form and not done on an open griddle. The hash browns had some cold spots in the mix, but else wise fairly good. There was enough food on the plate to the point I could not finish all the meal. My main problem was with the waitress, she had no expression to her at all, like she lost a bit and had to work that day. She was not visible most of the time and when I asked for my check, it took forever to get it. All in all, I would give this place a second try. Like someone else mentioned, this place has been remodeled and is fairly clean looking inside.

I have been here once about 15 years ago and I knew it was open on Christmas. The place was packed but our wait was under 5. The service was lightning quick and the server was very helpful. I had the gypsy skillet and it came with 4 eggs and a generous helping of tots, onions, green peppers and melted cheese. It was very tasty and everyone at the table left satisfied. The only thing I had to ask for was a glass of water?

Great food. .. Not so friendly staff. . But it worth it for the food

I found this restaurant because I was in the area and had time to kill. I went in because the place looked very inviting from the outside and just as great when I got in. I asked to be seated out on their patio because the day was so gorgeous. I ordered the sausage and cheese omelette which came with pancakes and hash browns and I ordered a mimosa. The food was great and the service was excellent. My server was a delightful lady named Debbie, and I will be back to see her soon. I even stayed a half hour longer reading a book "with a few more mimosas" lol

May: Had breakfast here this morning, and it was pretty decent. We're on a quest for restaurants that can make hash browns the old fashioned way - shredded fresh potatoes cooked crisp on the outside, tender on the inside w/ a great butterery flavor which of course really only comes from butter. Anythoo, back to Les Brothers - we walked in, were seated right away, nice surprise for a Sunday morning. We both decided on the Ultimate Breakfast - we have a thing about having our eggs and our french toast too ;-) Food came out pretty fast, hot and it was good. The only negative was the hash browns - cooked ahead of time, then attempted to crisp up on the grill a bit - came out like mashed potatoes w/ a crust ... ... meh. Again, I digress, if you're not a hash brown snob, this place should be on the breakfast list. Solid food, good service, decent prices. June: Second visit update - service was still decent, coffee: strong just the way we like it, food: just okay, eggs, toast were fine, asked for the hash browns crispy, didn't help, still mushy in the inside, asked for the bacon crispy, came out limp, had to send it back to get crisped. Best part (though 95th street isn't exactly quiet) was sitting outside in the sun on the patio.

Service was good, but I was very disappointed with the food. I have heard great things about this place, but it definitely is over rated. My chicken was overlooked and I probably could've made a better omelet at home. Maybe it's just my taste buds because it's always crowded, but my boyfriend agrees that their food is over priced and over rated

Great place for breakfast, and you can tell by the crows/wait that's typically there during breakfast hours on the weekends. It's a little smaller of a place but that's not a bad thing. The food is good, I'm partial to the breakfast skillets and the service is usually very fast and friendly. My only knock would be the hash Browns, I'm a fan of the old school shredded hash browns and they have more of a chopped potato hash brown. Side note, they now have slot machines if you like to get your gamble on while your waiting for your eggs.

Service is good, coffee is good. I didn't say great. There is literally nowhere else in the area to get diner food. That may explain the large number of undeservedly good reviews because I don't know why these people are still in business. I have eaten there about 5 times and it may have gotten worse every visit. Why do I keep going back? Like I said there is nowhere else in the area. I never need a to go box because the food is never good enough to eat twice. FYI, Les Brothers when you put 'strips of bacon' in the item description, that doesn't mean crumbled bacon that may equal 1/2 of a strip. And no they didn't ask how everything was when I paid my bill because they know it's shit.

Good place, good food. The steak skillet is yummy. You get a good bang for buck with the food. The fresh squeezed OJ is delicious but kinda pricey. I would recommend this place.

I had a very poor first experience at Les Brothers. It was the only time in my life I've actually had to send back a meal. Upon first sitting down, I noticed my coffee cup was filthy. Once our food arrived, the cream cheese in my stuffed French toast was rancid, and the skillet was filled with burnt crisps (it looked like they scraped the grill top off into the dish). I informed the waitress that the food was not edible and that we would just be paying for our coffee. She apologized, and returned back to tell us the owner "said he was very sorry" and not to worry about the coffee. Although they were understanding and swiftly took care of our bill, I was bothered that the owner couldn't even personally come to apologize for the disgusting meal. I will not be returning!

Great place for breakfast! Been here a few times and so far very good.

The place for breakfast. My favorite the skirt steak is marinated to perfection. Generous portions and quick service. The skillets are numerous. Crowded on holidays but worth the wait.

Was out recently looking for a good breakfast/lunch type place.....was in this general area and saw this on a whim....since I have been to Les Brothers restaurants in the area, I decided to give this place a try. It wasn't overly crowded so was seated right away. Ordered a gypsy skillet (which had green peppers, mushrooms, and ham) along with toast and coffee. Food was good, English Muffin was tasty, and the coffee was a bottomless cup....not too bad and it wasn't too much to eat.
(4)Sara P.
This restaurant offers great classic American diner food without making you feel like you swallowed a bucket of grease. I enjoyed my corned beef hash and eggs. The portions are enormous. Everything is pretty tasty. The prices are decent. My only complaint was the service was a tad slow, but overall, we always stop at this place when we are mushroom hunting in the nearby woods.
(4)Ramon R.
The country fried chicken breakfast and biscuits is awesome!....service and pricing are good. This is definitely the best diner in the area!

Gone is the industrial strength green and maroon carpeting, the dark stained woodwork, the bar, broken down chairs with squeaky wheels, and wobbly well-worn tables. What we have here now, are warm yellows and pale blues, along with blond stained woodwork, and sunshine streaming in. A very good place to have a breakfast or sandwich for lunch, At one time, this place was open 24hours on the weekends and had a full dinner menu. Now, it caters to a breakfast and lunch only crowd, and is closed in the evenings. As said before, it is a brighter place, both decoration and food wise. They have all the breakfast bad stuff, like bacon, gyro meat, and greasy hash browns, but they also have lighter fare available, including what looks to be a juice and smoothie bar.
(4)Mike K.
This is your typical "Greek Family" owned diner with Mexican/Guatamalen cooks.....I think this location has slightly upstaged the 87th St. location (food wise)....although the last time I was there I had an older white lady as my server and she was absent minded.....never brought my veggies and when they came they were cold......I get pissed when I have to ask for my check.....which I had to do. The food and portion sizes are hard to beat. If I had a better waitress, I would have given it a 4.

We figured to try this restaurant one last time...and that is was! The coffee tasted burnt, our poached eggs were overcooked, we had to ask twice for ketchup and hot sauce, had to ask for a straw for our water, and the corned beef hash looked like dog food!
(2)Danielle M.
Love having breakfast here any time if the day. Sometimes it's carry out on Sunday morning, sometimes we go in. The portions are huge (I always split an omelette with my son) and the food tastes like my mom's in the kitchen cooking. Best pancakes too. The East Coast has their diners, Chicago has Les Brothers.
(4)Nicole L.
The food is pretty good (love those potatos for breakfast!) but the waitress needs to pay attention. I ordered country chicken and ended up with chicken fried steak. Then instead of just bringing me out the correct meat, she took away my plate while I was trying to eat my eggs and potatos and asked me if it was ok AFTER she had done so (like it mattered at that point?). I had to wait for them to replate my half-eaten food (thus getting rid of the excess yolk that was prime for toast-dipping) with the country chicken which was over-cooked - very dry and rubbery. I guess I should have stuck with the chicken fried steak after all because at least that was tender.

This was one of the best surprises I've ever found on Yelp! Not only did the staff and management bend over backward to accommodate our last minute group of 34, on a busy Saturday morning, they were fast, efficient and exceedingly friendly. The food was absolutely top-notch, the service was very attentive and the prices were incredibly reasonable. Clean, modern facilities and extremely convenient to I-294. Definitely a great all-around experience that I would confidently recommend to everyone. Plenty of parking, great for kids, takes credit cards. WOW! Excellent coffee! The German Pancake and Apple Pancake are definitely worth the 30 minute wait. Great inexpensive kids menu!!! A new favorite (for all 34 of us) in the southern burbs.

On a Saturday afternoon after a good shopping day at Chicago Ridge, we always stop here and this is the place for a nice all American meal of mashed potatoes and gravy with maybe old school friend chicken, but oh no that's not it. There is a menu of so many foods. You can get Grecian chicken to pasta and a bunch of desserts. You definitely will not be disappointed with the variety of foods here. Now if you want breakfast, then you will really be floored because they know how to do it.

Is this the most modern fancy breakfast option around? No. Not at all. But compared to the other nearby breakfast options it's definitely the best choice. The food is always consistently tasty. Typical family restaurant fare. I am a fan of the chicken fajita skillet myself. They have, thankfully, remodeled the inside. It's still small and a bit old fashioned but this is always my go to breakfast spot. Lots of options on the menu, good service, huge portions. I have yet to finish a meal here. This I the kind of place you can go get breakfast on a weekday or weekend in your sweats. Just don't go hungover. Because it's so small it gets crazy noisy! A recent trip there had some obnoxious jag on his cell phone at the next table and couldn't even hear our own conversation! I left with a headache. The noise level knocked it down a star.

We were staying at a hotel nearby with lots of family who were all in town for my sister's wedding. My brother found Les Brothers online and was encouraged by the good reviews. I called at 9am, asking if they could accomodate our group of 34 people for 10am, and they said no problem! We were set-up at a large table on the side. We had two waitresses assigned just to us and they were obliging enough to give us seperate checks (with gratuity included, understandably so). The food was abundant and delicious, and the price was unbeatable! I only wish we didn't live so far away!
(5)Sherri S.
Mediocre food at best. Ok for breakfast. Their sister restaurant next door, Prime Time, looks really nice but the food is bland. They should work on the quality of food instead of remodeling.

Lipstick on a Pig! From the looks of the expensive rehad, you'd think breakfast would be a pleasant experience. And, after looking at the extensive menu, it seemed to be a winner. But, alas. Poor, or should I say, non-existent service was all that was offered. Food was prepared incorrectly, and once served the taste and texture was completely undesireable. Not even the sparkly green fingernails on our server could make up for the completely insincere thank you upon paying for the meal and leaving the restaurant. The brothers were there - how could miss them? Offering coffee refills but forget softdrinks because it's not in their capaicity. Honestly, skip this place -there are better and cheaper options in the neighborhood.

Horrible, horrible experience. I will never go back. Service was terrible, food was mediocre. They automatically added 20% for the tip but it is understandable why. I would never pay for that level of service. Our appetizer came right before the meal, the burger was dry and overcooked, the waitress couldn't remember who had what and obviously couldn't care less if we were satisfied - the automatic 20% tip obviously eliminates the need to be pleasant orcare if we are satisfied.

Les Brothers has a few things going for them. Their menu is probably the largest that I have seen at any restaurant. It can be very difficult at times to make a decision. The service is usually friendly and efficient. It is a typical family restaurant though, and the although the food is usually well prepared and good you typically have your standard family restaurant taste. They really have no standout or sepecialty menu selections. On occasion you can order the same menu item on three consecutive visits and it can taste diffeerent each time. You do get a good value as the prices are reasonable and portions are larger than average as the typical dinner feeds me for two meals
(3)A-train R.
I think Les Brothers has the best Breakfast! It has big portions which is what i believe is the most important factor for a b-fast place. My mom and brother order steaks here for b-fast and they say they're good although sometimes they are not as soft as others. I always have omelets and they are all good and I usually cant finish. The coffee is good, the hash browns are decent and my nephew told me to tell you the mickey mouse pancakes are great! The service is usually pretty good and the price is right. I usually make it here every weekend when I come visit the family in Palos and I have never been disappointed here. Also, they just remodeled the place so it feels much cleaner and much cozier.
(5)Diana R.
I had the pleasure of eating breakfast here today and I must say it was very delightful. This was the first time I ate here. I like the fact that they had one specific menu just for breakfast. They didn't have a ginormous menu consisting of breakfast, lunch and dinner which i liked. I'm sure they have a separate menu for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is your normal family restaurant everyone very friendly. Their breakfast menu was your normal breakfast type menu. Our server was extremely friendly and checked up on us quite often. The Belgium waffle I had was delicious especially the hashbrowns with onions.... those were SUPER good!
(4)Sarah S.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the 10 ounce flame broiled burgers here.. YUMMY!! Its a build your own kinda burger.. so after all I add its about $9 but well worth it. Home fries and a big bowl of soup later and you will def need a doggy bag. Service is friendly and everything is clean..
(4)Stan S.
The food was amazing and the staff was friendly. There was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. Good breakfast and the bill was under $30 for the two of us.

Visited during lunch. Great lunch menu selection. Had blackened tilapia. Was cooked very well. Prices were extremely reasonable and service was fast and polite.
